10sion

A certain resistance fills the air nowadays. Resistance to change. Resistance to love. Resistance to simply being still. What does it boil down to? I'm sure we can all come up with a few theories. There seems to be something so vain about holding on to such energy, in either sense. Nevertheless, it tends to seep in, like water through a small hole in your boat of sanity. Things happen. This is absolutely true. One small hole will not stop us from getting back to shore. We will temporarily plug it up. No big deal. That is, until we've irresponsibly gone back out on the water several more times without addressing our little problem. Now, through periodic wear, we have a larger area of damage that we had not discovered had manifested. Tension.

Note: it is important to check in, even if things feel or look alright externally.

The current is especially heavy today and everything is swelling up. Our plug could pop at any second, letting on water and sinking what we know to be our main source of safety in the water. Feelings well up through anxiety, frustration, and fear. Tension. Why did I...? Why am I so...? I should've just...

There is no time for such thoughts. There's no such thing as time at all. Time is a construct of limited imagination and faith. There is only will, faith, and love:

The will to carry out our desires, faith in knowing that they will work out no matter what, and a love of learning through the process.

The will to surrender to feeling, faith in knowing that it won't always be the same, and a love of conquering the challenge.

The will to learn through even the toughest lessons, faith in knowing that we are growing through every experience, and a love of sharing with those who need a reminder.

Tension, as a result of opposition, is resistance. Resistance in doing, feeling, seeing, or experiencing whatever this dimension has for us to do so. Tension seems inevitable at times, but disables any hope of internal or external maturation if left unchecked. The energy itself can deplete and defeat the purpose we are here to serve, which, in my experience, is to connect through love and respect. We can't expect to complete the life we seek to live, rendering an energy of despair or anger in any part of our hearts. Getting back to shore is always a matter of action through the will to get to our destination, faith in knowing the power in our being, and a love of encouraging trust in the merciful energy of Creation.
