Ghosts

Spirits. Energy felt but rarely seen in its entirety. A quick flash, passing shadow, or displaced breeze. Goosebumps - hair raising experiences that leave you questioning what happened. This must be a trick of the mind or heart. The soul. Beings tuned in to sharing a specific frequency. How else are we able to experience one another? Let this simple commonality illuminate the capacity and intricacy of our relationships. 

We have now encountered each other. Is this paranormal activity or acknowledgement of a deeper connection? Everything feels real. Familiar aromas, psychological comfort, and vivid dreams that bring us into contact still. Charged. Laws of nature say we are eternal. We cannot be created or destroyed, only converted to another state. How magical? How wonderful that nothing is permanent? Yet, how sad that things must always change? No matter how good it feels or how much we love the space we occupy, there will be change. No matter how much we vow to cherish and protect our people and possessions, there will be change. Things must always change.

Change is only constant. How we choose to embrace and experience change, creates our perception and perspective of the impact it has on our lives. Will we grow and blossom? Will we wilt and wither away? In the end, there's always a conversion of energy. The roles we choose to play, the time and resources we decide to utilize, and the unconditional love we practice sharing determine the frequency of which our energy continues to vibrate throughout the ethers. They determine our eternal connection. With gratitude, we should not fear what we are destined to become. Ghosts.
